Writing, for me, is a profound exploration of the human experience. My approach to writing is deeply rooted in the belief that every story, whether captured in a novel or a short story, has the power to transcend ordinary life and reveal the extraordinary. I draw inspiration from the everyday—the unnoticed moments, the forgotten histories, and the silent echoes of places known and unknown.

I begin each story with a seed—an idea that comes from a curious observation, a historical tidbit, or a personal insight. This seed gradually grows through layers of research and imagination into a detailed plot and vibrant characters. My writing process is methodical yet fluid, allowing space for characters to develop their voices and for plots to shift as the narrative unfolds.

My novels and short stories are crafted to immerse readers fully, using rich, evocative language. I strive to create worlds that are as visually and emotionally engaging on paper as they are resonant with the truths and trials of our own. Whether I am writing about the supernatural occurrences in the Saddleworth Vampire Series or weaving the fabric of varied horror that are the Dark Pennine Tales, my goal is to tell stories that resonate deeply, provoke thought, and stir the soul.

In the end, each story is a journey—a carefully mapped expedition through the landscapes of imagination and insight. I invite my readers to travel these paths with me, to explore the depths of both the human and supernatural realms. My hope is that through my stories, readers will discover laughter, fear, sorrow, and joy, and emerge from each book with a deeper understanding of both the fantastic and the real.
